We hope you got out to a Oktoberfest celebration or two last weekend. We sure did! We visited Breckenridge for their annual Oktoberfest weekend which, as always, is loads of fun. We were able to spend time with family, enjoy many steins of beer, a few shots of Barenjager and Jagermeister, and there may have been a little dancing to some great German oompah music! It was a beautiful weekend to be in the mountains and everyone was having a good time.
If you didn’t make time for any beer-filled fun last weekend, never fear… the mack daddy of all beer festivals arrives in Denver next week. Yes, it’s almost here… Denver Beer Fest Week festivities begin this Friday! There is a full week of great beer events all around town, capped off by the Great American Beer Festival next Thursday through Saturday. We’ll be here to bring you the best stories from the fest, but we want to encourage you to go out and find some fun events yourself. Get out there, have some great beer and mingle with all the beer fans and brewery staff that will be in town for the week. If you need some suggestions of fun events to attend, visit our Event Calendar page.
While we’ve been pretty busy hoisting steins and prepping for GABF, we did find the time to pull together a roundup of all the great pumpkin beer releases hitting the taps in Colorado for PorchDrinking.com. We were honored to be asked to write this piece for PorchDrinking, they’re truly one of our favorite websites. If you aren’t familiar with their site you should check them out. PorchDrinking delivers fantastic content every day thanks to their team of fun, friendly and fearless writers. We’re thrilled they invited us to collaborate with them on this post and look forward to working with them much more in the future.
